CRM is a very useful software application. CRM actually stands for Customer Relationship management. So the term is originally defined and designed to improve customer experiences. But now-a-days it is related to a complete business strategy. Though the term refers to systematic approach to handle relationships with customer but it is also associated with business strategy.
The software delivers sophisticated sales force automations functions like lead management, web to lead forms, accounting, contract management, sales quota management and also sales quota management. In additions it also provides real-time analysis tools, sales pipeline analysis, competitor analysis, sales forecasting, sales reports and dashboard. It enhances the sales productivity.
Customer means a person who buys or consumes products or services from a firm he wishes by buying or renting it out for a mutually decided price. A customer can choose among different products and supplier as he wishes. To any business customers are the real fuels. They keep the business going. Any business can’t even exist without customers or buyers. The more customer a company or firm can acquire the more revenue they make and thus they have more profits and the business prospers. So the relationship with customer or client is very important, often considered as asset.
 
Again the relationship in business often refers to a state which involves mutual dealings and understandings between people or parties. It also needs different kinds of interactions with them or ability to better understand their needs. A company needs to build good communication with their customer using different media of communication. The more one can interact with customer there are better chances to build a very strong business relationship with the customer. Good relationship will always inspire the customer to buy more. Every customer wishes to buy from the producer or supplier he or she can trust. Gaining trust is only possible through building better relationship.
 
Customer interaction may involve talking and understanding the customer while the customer is ordering a product. It also includes getting a feedback from the customer. It is very important to know if the customer was satisfied with the product or service or if the quality of the product should have been better. If the customer is satisfied then he will refer his friends and family for the product or service.
 
So CRM, (customer relationship management) is very important for the success of a business. For this reason CRM software is widely used for business strategy. It helps to create interactions with a customer in a more friendly understanding way. It is a process in which a lead is converted to a buyer by building a strong relationship of trust, loyalty and friendship. It is a part and parcel of a organization or business.
